Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use therealitygroup.ca, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or magnification. We build the site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and we fix barriers as we find them.

Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) sets accessibility standards for organizations in Ontario, and its standard for websites is based on WCAG. We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA across this site.

• A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
• Photos carry a text description for screen readers, except where the same name is already written beside them.
• Every form field has a label that screen readers announce.
• A clear outline shows where you are when you move through a page with the keyboard.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the scrolling and entrance animations are switched off.
• Our office address is written out in full beside the map on the contact page.
• Videos from Instagram load only when you press them, so nothing plays on its own.

• The videos on our pages are played by Instagram. Captions and player controls are Instagram’s, not ours.
• The map on our contact page is provided by Google.
• If a page, a form, the chat assistant or online booking does not work for you, contact us and we will help you another way.

If something on this site is hard to use, or you would like information in another format, tell us. Please say which page you were on and what happened.
